What Time Zone Am I In??

Holy Moly!

After another jaunt to Vegas, I’m just now getting back into the swing of things.  This was the month of travel, Travel and TRAVEL!

I was in Vegas when the first day of Spring hit.

So I missed posting my Spring Diva:

I was in Vegas on St. Patrick’s Day.  Lots of green, Spring Breakers and celebration was happening in Vegas.  (including gentlemen in kilts . . . nice).

So I missed posting my St. Patrick’s Day Diva:

Any ole hoo . . . it feels great to be home and in my own natural time zone.

Many a diva was strutting her stuff in Vegas.  And of course, tons of divas were taking their chances at the slots and card tables.

To that end, I’m squeezing in a March giveaway for my Queen of Hearts Diva matted print:

 . . . and . . .

a Spring Diva t-shirt: (yellow, size Large, v-neck)

It’s easy to enter.  Comment here.  “Like” or comment on Doodle Divas’ Facebook page(s).

Winners announced before tax time next month . . . when we could all use some GOOD news!  ;-)

One Step Closer To a Purse

I live for the day I get to actually design Doodle Divas purses and handbags.  Until that day, I'm tickled to at least offer its distant cousin . . . tote bags!

As soon as I posted a pic on Facebook, I sold completely out.  Two boutiques have already ordered a bunch of them to stock their stores.

It makes sense.  Not only are they uber cute, they're uber functional!

I'm so excited . . . what the heck!  I'm giving one away.  Just tell me what you typically put in your tote bags.

I'll draw a name Sunday and send a tote bag and Doodle Divas notecard to one lucky reader!

Good luck!  :-)

Big Hair

I'm the 'bigger is better' generation. And when it came to hair, COLOSSAL was best. My most elaborate doodles were in the 80's with divas sporting mounds of hair supported by huge bows or that invisible wonder called "hair spray".

Hair volume reached a fever pitch with the invention of . . . WEAVES! Suddenly women of color went from hair barely beyond their temples to hair swaying in long strands well beyond their hips.

Of course, times changed and big hair fell way to the more paired down styles of today. Even I never cared for the foot long bangs that stood at gravity defying verticals while the rest just kind of laid there.

But I also know their are those of you that, just like me, will always have a place in your heart for . . . BIG HAIR!!! :-)
