July is Over??!

I think one of the reasons it's so hard to believe this is the last day of July is because of all the darn rain! 

No worries.  I came up with a diva to mark this unusually rainy month.

Then of course there was Independence Day.  Got a diva for that.

And the highlight of my month was my Vegas trip.  You know I got a diva for that!

Alas, another July has come and gone.   But no problem.  I have a few divas to commemorate the month.

Now let's see what August has in store!  :-)

Let Freedom Ring

In less than 48 hours, it's July 4th, Independence Day, the day America officially celebrates its signed declaration of freedom back in 1776.


America's signed declaration includes the passage, ". . Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness . .".  


And you know . . . 


 . . . the more I think about it . . . 


. . . that's basically Doodle Diva's Mission Statement!

Hotter Than The Fourth of July!

Doodles Divas are all about holidays and celebrations. They'll use any excuse to break out a new outfit - like they need one.

I wanted the girls to reference the pinups of yesteryear. They have a classic, nostalgic edge that lends itself naturally to that era. 

I imagine this little diva entertaining the troops with a song and dance routine. And a radio announcer in the background blaring:

"You can look but be warned: Don't touch! She's hotter than the Fourth of July!"
