While trying to figure out a design for my Etsy banner, I got the idea to focus on what already works and manipulate as few ingredients as possible. Fussy and detailed logos just don't work.
I changed one thing - the background.
It was white.
It's now RED!
It's simple.
It works.
It POPS!
Mission accomplished.
It does pop! Very cool. Doodling is a distraction from the mundane and tedious indeed! I leave meetings with more doodles than meeting notes.
