I love at lot of the really exaggerated poses I've seen models do over the years. The best poses are from years ago.
I'm thinking 50's - 70's era. The models always seemed to truly know how to emphasize form, mood and fit.
And they always had a 'best side.' Although from what I've seen . . .
. . . ANY side of a diva is her BEST side!

The Moral of the Story
The moral of the story, "The Wizard of Oz", is simple:
There's no place like home.
Whatever . . .
Dreams really do come true.
Seriously? . . .
No . . .
Maybe when I was like nine years-old.
Attention Oprah Winfrey generation!
I believe the real moral of the story, "The Wizard of Oz", isn't that deep.
The moral is . . .
It's OK to grab a perfectly good pair of fabulous red pumps off a dead witch with a house on top of her.
It's not stealing.
It's recycling!
Cigarettes and Furs
Sophistication.
That's one of the words I associate with divas. And when it comes to images, there are many.
One image is of some super rich gal, circa 1950's, draped in fur. She has a matching hat. There's a cigarette in one hand and an equally glamorous pooch either carried or on a leash in the other.
Today that reality would be wrong on a couple of levels. Thankfully, no animals nor lungs were harmed in my illustration. ;-)
